Dartava is built around the dartboard you already own. Point a phone or supported camera at the board, calibrate the view and let Board Vision assist the score while the normal match scorer stays in control.

Dartava's Play runtime can use a phone or board camera with a normal steel-tip dartboard. Board Vision calibrates the board view and assists scoring during a live match, without requiring a dedicated smart dartboard just to start playing.
Confidence before automation
Automatic darts scoring should not turn one uncertain frame into a bad leg. Dartava uses confidence and review gates around board detection. When the camera is not confident enough, it hands the visit back to the player instead of pretending it saw a score it could not verify.
Multi-camera Arena when one angle is not enough
Arena can bring multiple phones or cameras into the same match setup for board, side, opposite and player views. The extra angles are designed to make remote play, board visibility and match presentation easier without creating a second scoring system.
Hands-free voice fallback
If the board scorer cannot confidently resolve the throw, Dartava can prompt for the score and listen automatically. Call individual darts such as ‘treble 20, 5, double 20’ or simple segment values such as ‘14, 7, 20’; Dartava totals the visit and sends it through the normal match scorer.
Questions players ask
Can I use my phone as a darts camera scorer?
Yes. Dartava's camera-assisted scoring is designed to work with a phone or supported camera aimed at a standard dartboard. Calibration and lighting still matter, and uncertain throws can be sent back for player confirmation.
Do I need an electronic or smart dartboard?
No dedicated smart dartboard is required for Dartava's normal scoring and phone-camera-assisted flow. You can use the steel-tip board you already throw at.
What happens if the camera cannot see a dart?
The scorer can fall back to the player. Dartava can ask for the visit aloud and listen for spoken dart values rather than forcing a bad automatic score.
Can I use more than one camera?
Dartava Arena supports a multi-camera match setup so extra phones can provide board, side, opposite or player views around the same match.
Does voice fallback bypass checkout rules?
No. Spoken visits are passed back through Dartava's normal scoring flow so bust and checkout logic still applies.
